I am passionate about football and love the game and every aspect of it. 8 years ago we set up with a vision of creating memories and we have achieved this on so many levels.

There is no better feeling than teaching a child discipline, teamwork, effort, dedication and determination. Those cold weekend mornings are worthwhile and more when you see the personal growth in each child.

Jamie offered me the chance to lead a new Furzedown Lions U12 age group for the 21/22 season.

My ambition is to make everyone in my squad a better player by the end of the season, and we'll enjoy some wins along the way!
I hope to engage the kids with fun but focussed sessions that will encourage teamwork. I still play football regularly myself which gives me ideas and opportunities to practise what I Preach.
Whatever your child's ability, my hope is we'll give them the confidence to continue playing football into young adulthood, helping them to lead a healthy and sociable life, wherever they go in the world

I am really pleased to be coaching at Furzedown lions fc. I have helped out with some of the other age groups at the club in the past and am excited to be coaching the U12s following on from last seasons debut season. I look back on my younger days playing football and those times have given me lifelong memories and friends. I hope I can bring these kids that same experience.

I place a big importance on the kids self progression and self belief and encourage them to be as a good a player and team mate as they can be.
We have no individuals in our team. We win as a team and we lose as a team.

Football has been a large part of my life from a young age, I have made lasting friendships and had some great highs. the most profound lessons other than the ones learned from my parents have come from my football coaches and on the pitch. This is what I would like to payback to the next generation. We have a great bunch of boys and girls at Furzedown Lions and great coaches, so learning, achieving and creating lasting memories is inevitable.

Having played football from a young age in Portugal and being on the receiving end for many years, I decided that I had to give back in some way. What better way than coaching enthusiastic kids, who are keen to learn, while being involved in something I love?
FURZEDOWN LIONS give me the chance to put my knowledge and experience to good use and I am looking forward to seeing the results.
